Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse Ronan (pronounced SEER-shuh RO-nuhn) was born on the 12th April 1994 in New York City in New York.
She was raised in County Carlow, Ireland, having moved to Ireland when she was 3 years old.
Saoirse has starred in The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey as Celia Hardwick with Tom Berenger and Joely Richardson, Atonement as Briony Tallis (in the part as a teenager age 13) with Keira Knightley, James McAvoy and Romola Garai and in I Could Never Be Your Woman as Izzie opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd.
She has also been in Death Defying Acts as Benji alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Guy Pearce and Timothy Spall and in The City of Ember as Lina Mayfleet with Bill Murray, Tim Robbins ad Harry Treadman.
Saoirse has also starred in the film called The Lovely Bones as Susie Salmon with Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon and in The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle in the title character of Charlotte Doyle.
She has also appeared in The Way Back as Irena.
