Matthew Gray GublerMatthew Gray Gubler was born on the 9th March 1980 in Las Vegas in Nevada.Matthew is an accomplished film director, sketch artist, and former fashion model, as well as an actor. He has worked with DNA Model Management, Tommy Hilfiger, and numerous fashion designers Matthew's first role was in the film called The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou as an intern with Bill Murray, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, Michael Gambon, Noah Taylor, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Owen Wilson. He then went on to have a small role in the film called RV as Joe Joe, alongside Robin Williams and Jeff Daniels. He has also starred in Alvin and the Chipmunks and Alvin and the Chipmunks II - The Squeakuel as Simon with Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Jesse McCartney, Jason Lee, Ross Bagdasarian Jr., Janice Karman, Don Tiffany, David Cross, Cameron Richardson and Jane Lynch. Matthew has starred in the film Pornstar as Ziggy with Scottie Thompson and Diora Baird and in How To Be a Serial Killer as Bart with Laura Regan and Dameon Clarke. Other film roles include The Great Buck Howard opposite Tom Hanks, John Malkovich, Emily Blunt and Colin Hanks. But perhaps Matthew's most notable role is that of playing the young genius Dr. Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds - Season 1,Criminal Minds - Season 2 and Criminal Minds - Season 3 alongside Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster, Kirsten Vangsness, A.J. Cook, Joe Mantegna and Lola Glaudini.. The show follows the adventures of a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) at Quantico, Virginia. According to Japanese Vogue, Matthew recently directed, edited, and co-produced the music video for "Don't Shoot Me Santa" by the rock band The Killers Another role of Matthew's was in 500 Days of Summer as Paul with Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Clark Gregg and in the film called Rapunzel as the voice of Young Prince Bastion with Kristin Chenoweth, Peter Sallis and David Schwimmer.
