Dakota Blue Richards

Dakota Blue Richards was born on the 11th April 1994 in South Kensington in London.
She played April Johnson in Jacqueline Wilson's Dustbin Baby alongside Juliet Stevenson and David Haig and was also in The Secret of Moonacre as Maria Merryweather along with Ioan Gruffudd, Tim Curry and again starring opposite Juliet Stevenson.
Another role (the lead role) was in Philip Pullman's The Golden Compass as Lyra Belacqua (also known as Lyra Silvertongue) who is a young girl who inhabits a universe parallel to our own. The Golden Compass is from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy and also stars Nicole Kidman, Eva Green and Daniel Craig.
Another role was in Five Miles Out as Cass with Thomas Malone and Dakota has also appeared as herself in the documentary entitled - Looking for Lyra: Casting Dakota Blue Richards.
