Amanda Michalka
Amanda "AJ" Michalka was born on April 10th 1991 in Torrance , California. She has been heavily involved with her music from an early age , now playing both piano and guitar, and has found great success with her sister , Alyson "Aly" , as the band "Aly & AJ" now known as "78violet". They have so far released 3 albums ; "Into The Rush" , "Acoustic Hearts of Winter" and "Insomniatic", and plan another tentativly named "Next Worst Thing".
AJ Michalka had been involved in musicals and modeling before moving into televison work in the early 2000s with guest roles on "General Hospital" , "Six Feet Under" and "The Guardian" with the late Farrah Fawcett. In 2006, she moved on to do more work with her sister starring in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Cow Belles" and " Super Sweet 16 : The Movie" , based upon the popular TV show.
AJ also appears in Peter Jackson's adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel "The Lovely Bones" along with Academy Award Winners Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon and Academy Award Nominees Saoirse Ronan and Mark Wahlberg, which is executive produced by Academy Award Winning director Steven Spielberg.
AJ Michalka therefore has a bright future as not only an musician but also as an actress.
