Ed Westwick

Ed Westwick was born on June 27th 1987 in Stevenage , England. Having trained at the National Youth Theatre in London , Ed guest starred on several Britis programmes including " Doctors " and " Casualty " . He also had roles in Anthony Minghella's " Breaking and Entering " alongside Jude Law , " Children of Men " alongside Clive Owen and also in " Son of Rambow ".
Ed Westwick is perhaps known on both sides of the Atlantic as the playboy of the Upper East Side of Manhattan , Chuck Bass, on " Gossip Girl " based upon the best-selling book series by Cecily von Ziegesar. So far he has already won 3 Teen Choice Awards for this role in 2 years and it has opened doors for him with a starring role in " S. Darko " and a guest role opposite David Duchovny in " Californication ".
With a starring role as Heathcilff in a new version of " Wuthering Heights " opposite Gemma Arterton ahead , Ed Westwick therefore has a bright future in both TV and in movies on both sides of the Atlantic.
