James Buckley

James Buckley
James Patrick Buckley (born 16 August 1987) is an English actor and musician, best known for his roles as Jay Cartwright in the British comedy The Inbetweeners and Derek "Del Boy" Trotter in Rock & Chips. James was born in Croydon, Greater London in 1987. At the age of 2 he moved to Dagenham and attended Beam Primary School. It was here whilst taking part in school plays that James found out how much he enjoyed performing and started going to a stage school at the weekends from the age of 7. At 11 James began his first professional jobs in the west end shows Whistle Down the Wind and then Les Misérables the following year.
