Steve Rodney McQueen, born 1969 in London, UK, England.
He won the Turner Prize 1999 for film installation along with exhibition at the Institute of Comtemporay arts.
His first time writing and directing was the Biography of Bobby Sands covering the last six months of his life, It starred Michael Fassbender playing the lead.
His second project was Shame also writing and directing again with Micheal Fassbender telling a disturbing story of sex addiction.
His future project is Twelve years a slave, another project starring Micheal Fassbender along with Brad Pitt and tells the story of a man who is kidnapped and brought into slavery in the 1800s.
