Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on the 21st February 1979 in Waco in Texas.
She began her acting career as a child by appearing in tv commercials and the Disney Channel series called Kids Incorporated. During this time she danced in and sang all the songs for a live action video called Dance! Workout With Barbie.
Jennifer has had roles in Munchie as Andrea Kurtz, Little Miss Millions (which is also known as Home For Christmas) as Heather Lofton and in Sister Act 2 - Back in the Habit as Margaret opposite Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith, Lauryn Hill, James Coburn, Ryan Toby, Kathy Najimy, Wendy Makkena and Barnard Hughes
She has also appeared in House Arrest as Brooke Figler and performs the song called "It's Good To Know That I'm Alive" and in Can't Hardly Wait as Amanda Beckett with Seth Green, Charlie Korsmo and Ethan Embry and performs the song called "How Do I Make You".
She has appeared in Love Sucks as Deb Freidman opposite Matthew Lillard, Dash Mihok and Peter Facinelli.
Jennifer as well as starring in Trojan War (which is also known as Rescue Me) as Leah Jones - she performs the songs called "I Hope I Don't Fall In Love With You" and "I Believe In".
Another notable role was as Julie James in I Know What You Did Last Summer and performs the song called "How Do I Deal" and reprises her role of Julie in its sequel called I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. These films also star Freddie Prinze Jr., Brandy, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe.
Other roles were in The Suburbans as Cate and in Heartbreakers as Page Conners with Sigourney Weaver and Ray Liotta.
Jennifer has also lent her voice to the part of Thumbelina in The Adventures Of Tom Thumb And Thumbelina with Elijah Wood and Peter Gallagher and as Madellaine in Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2, The - The Secret Of The Bell alongside Jason Alexander, Tom Hulce, Kevin Kline, Jason Alexander, Demi Moore and Haley Joel Osment.
Jennifer has also starred in The Tuxedo as Del Blaine opposite Jackie Chan and Jason Isaacs, The Truth About Love as Alice Holbrook with Dougray Scott and Jimi Mistry and in If Only as Samantha Andrews alongside Paul Nicholls and Tom Wilkinson.
Another notable role was in Garfield as Liz and then in the films sequel called Garfield 2 - A Tail Of Two Kitties alongside Bill Murray and Breckin Meyer.
She has also starred in Running Wilde with Pierce Brosnan, Shaky Ground as Bernadette Moody, The Byrds of Paradise as Franny Byrd and in McKenna as Brooke Figler.
Another notable role was as Sarah Reeves in the critically acclaimed Party Of Five - Party of Five - The Complete Second Season alongside Matthew Fox, Neve Campbell, Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert. Then again as Sarah in the Party Of Five spin off called Time of Your Life with Jennifer Garner and Pauley Perrette.
She also appeared in the music video for the Enrique Iglesias song, "Hero", as the singer's love interest which also starred Mickey Rourke who plays one of the men hunting him.
Other roles have been in Tropic Thunder in a cameo role as Herself opposite Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey, Jr. and in Delgo as the voice of Princess Kyla with Val Kilmer, Eric Idle and Michael Clarke Duncan.
She has also appeared in Shortcut to Happiness as The Devil, The Audrey Hepburn Story in the title role of Audrey with Frances Fisher and Eric McCormack and as Darlene in Brokedown Palace.
Another role was in A Christmas Carol (which is listed on lovefilm as Christmas Carol, A - The Musical) as Emily alongside Kelsey Grammer and Jane Krakowski and she was also in Zoomates as the voice of Helen.
She has also lent her voice to the role of Medusa in Hercules and has starred in The Social Climber as Katya Livingston with Colin Ferguson and James Kirk.
Jennifer has been in American Dreams as Nancy Sinatra, In the Game as Riley Reed, Groove Squad as the voice of Chrissy and in The Magic 7 as the voice of Erica.
But perhaps her most notable role is playing Melinda Gordon - a young woman from Grandview in New York, who has the ability to see and communicate with the dead in Ghost Whisperer - Series 1, Ghost Whisperer - Series 2, Ghost Whisperer - Series 3, Ghost Whisperer - Series 4 and Ghost Whisperer - Series 5 alongside Anne Archer, Christine Baranski, David Conrad, Aisha Tyler, Camryn Manheim and Jay Mohr.
Jennifer also performs the theme song in Scooby Doo And The Alien Invaders called "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You ?".
