Hermione Norris

Hermione Norris
Hermione Norris was born in 1968. At age 19 she enrolled at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). On an exchange to the Moscow Art Theatre School she played Nina in a production of The Seagull.
Her first tv roles were in Poirot, the television series Clarissa and in an episode of Drop the Dead Donkey. Hermione made guest appearances in series such as Between the Lines and Casualty.
Hermione Norris' big break came when she got the role of Karen Marsden, a middle-class woman who feels trapped by her middle-class lifestyle, in the highly acclaimed tv series called Cold Feet alongside James Nesbitt, Helen Baxendale,
John Thomson, Fay Ripley, Robert Bathurst, and Kimberley Joseph.
Hermione has also appeared in Berkley Square, Killing Time: The Millennium Poem, starring opposite Christopher Ecclestone, and in the television film Falling Apart.
In 2002, she starred opposite Robson Green in Wire in the Blood, playing Detective Inspector Carol Jordan.
Her film roles include an appearance in Lucky Jim, and in Born Romantic.
Hermione also won the role of Ros Myers in the spy drama called Spooks. And is currently playing the part of Beatrice Kingdom, the deranged half-sister of Stephen Fry's character - Peter Kingdom in the tv series set in Market Shipborough in Norfolk called Kingdom. She also stars opposite Celia Imrie, Tony Slattery, Karl Davies and guests stars such as Joss Ackland, Richard Wilson, Rory Bremner, Diana Quick, Lucy Benjamin, Richard Briers and John Thomson.
