Austin Nichols

Austin nichols was born and lived in Austin, Texas until he was 18 years old. He then moved to Los Angleles to persue an acting career, he started acting at the age of 15 when he took up acting lessons. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2002 with a degree in creative writing. he has an older sister called ashely.

Austin mother was a champion skier therefore Austin was also a competitive water skier representing the U.S. Junior Water Ski Team in the Pan-American Championships in 1997, Austin was once ranked #3 in the World Junior Rankings list in the Tricks event and skied in the Junior U.S. Masters Championships twice. however this was cut short when he hurt his sholder in Florida, meaning he could no longer skie professionally.

His acting career began when he gate crashed a sundance Film Festival and was signed by a manager. Austin Nichols is best known for his role as Julian Baker in One Tree Hill, along with day after tomorrow and Wimbledon.

Austin broke of his engagment to Claire Oswolt in 2004 after 7 years. On May 25 2010, it was revealed that Nichols has been dating fellow One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush on and off for the last 4 years. It was also heard that he took the job on One Tree Hill to be with Sophia more.
