Christopher Walken

Christopher Walken
Born Ronald Walken on 31 March 1943, in Queens, New York.

Christopher.html">Christopher Walken is usually cast in roles which make use of his inimitable oddness. For that reason he often plays villains or outsiders.

He rose to international prominence with his Oscar win for the role of Nick in the 1978 American film "The Deer Hunter".

Although never rising to the same heights as some of his peers, Walken has amassed an impressive body of work, including some great performances such as the Character of Frank White in "King Of New York". He is a much loved actor and in rare interviews appears to be a man who loves to work and has a real drive and enthusiasm for acting.

Wise words: "Bear costumes are funny... Bears as well."
