Jason Hughes
Jason Hughes was born in 1971 in Porthcawl in South Wales. He has appeared in tv roles in shows such as: Mine All Mine, Waking the Dead, Casualty, Peak Practice, Killing Me Softly, Red Mercury, and Dead Long Enough.
Jason's big break came, when he played the part of gay lawyer Warren Jones in the TV series This Life from 1996 to 1997.
Jason has also had roles in the films called Shooters alongside Adrian Dunbar, Emma Fielding, Gerard Butler, Zara Ashton, Ioan Gruffudd, Marc Hobbs and Andrew Howard and in the film called House!, opposite Kelly MacDonald and Freddie Jones.
But Jason is probably best known for his role as Detective Sergeant Ben Jones in MIdsomer Murders alongside John Nettles as Inspector Barnaby. Other mainstay stars of Midsomer Murders are Jane Wymark as Joyce Barnaby and Laura Howard as Cully Barnaby.
