Daniel Casey
Daniel Casey was born on the 1st June 1972. He grew up in Stockton-on-Tees and attended Durham University, graduating with a BA Honours in English Literature before pursuing a career in acting.
Daniel played Anthony Cox in Our Friends in the North, and also firefighter Tony Barnes in the 2004 ITV firefighting series Steel River Blues.
He is however probably best known for playing the role of Sgt. Gavin Troy on Midsomer Murders, the sidekick of Inspector Barnaby played by John Nettles of Bergerac fame.
