salman khan's real name is Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan who was born on born December 27, 1965. Salman Khan - made his acting debut with the film Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988), had his first commercial success with the blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya (1989).
Khan is the eldest son of celebrated screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma Khan.
Khan is a dedicated bodybuilder. He trains everyday and is famous for taking off his shirt in movies and stage shows alike. In 2004, he was voted 7th best-looking man in the World and the best looking man in India by People magazine
It is currently rumored that he is going out with film actress Katrina Kaif.
