Nathan Phillips
Nathan Scott Phillips was born 1980 in Sunbury in Victoria in Australia.
He got his first role on Neighbours as John "Teabag" Teasdale, then starred in Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story as Hugh.
Other roles followed in Warriors of Virtue - The Return to Tao as Ryan Jeffers with Nina Liu and Kevin Smith, Blue Heelers as Cameron Sharp opposite Julie Nihill, Martin Sacks and John Wood and Something in the Air as Angus Moore alongside Kate Fitzpatrick, Eric Bana and Danielle Carter.
He has also starred in Surfer, Dude as Baker Smith with Matthew McConaughey, Alexie Gilmore and Jeffrey Nordling and in You And Your Stupid Mate as Philip alongside Rachel Hunter, Tayler Kane and William McInnes.
Nathan is most known for playing the role of Red O'Malley who is the only one who can calm a spooked pony or cure a colicky horse. With his excellent riding skills and wealth of experience, the "Saddle Club" girls could not work out why he didn't ride or train professionally. In fact, his past is a complete mystery.
The series is called The Saddle Club. Lovefilm list the series as Saddle Club, The - Volume 1. She stars alongside Brett Tucker, Sophie Bennett, Keenan Macwilliam, Heli Simpson, Kia Luby, Cathy Godbold and Catherine Wilkin.
Another notable role is as backpacker Ben Mitchell in Wolf Creek (listed on Lovefilm as Wolf Creek - HD DVD Version) with Kestie Morassi and Cassandra Magrath and in Snakes On A Plane as Sean Jones opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Byron Lawson and Julianna Margulies.
Nathan played the lead role in Australian Rules which earned him a nomination for the Film Critics Circle of Australia's Best Actor award. He played the part of Gary "Blacky" Black with Luke Carroll and Lisa Flanagan.
He has also starred in West as Jerry with Khan Chittenden and Gillian Alexy, Under the Radar as Brandon with Rory Williamson and Clayton Watson and in Stingers as Charlie Sanderson in the episode called The Object of My Affection opposite Gary Sweet and Peter Phelps.
Other movie roles include One Perfect Day as Trig with Dan Spielman and Leeanna Walsman, Take Away as Dave opposite Rose Byrne and Vince Colosimo and also Redline as Carlo alongside Jesse Johnson and Angus Macfadyen.
Nathan has also starred in Dying Breed as Jack with Bille Brown, Peter Docker and Mirrah Foulkes.
He has also starred in Message from the CEO as Eric with Mick Preston and Declan McGovern and in Quit as Benji alongside Noah Segan, Diora Baird and Don Swayze.
Nathan has also starred in Balibo as Malcolm Rennie opposite Damon Gameau, Gyton Grantley, Mark Winter and Thomas Wright.
