Anna Popplewell
Anna Katherine Popplewell was born on the 16 December 1988 in London. She has an actor brother called Freddie Popplewell and an actress sister called Lulu Popplewell.
Anna has a phobia of mice.
Anna began acting when she was 6 years old. Her first tv role was in 1998, in the tv adaptation of the Daphne Du Maurier classic called Frenchman's Creek.
She has also had film roles in Thunderpants and Me Without You.
Anna made her film debut in 1999 in the film Mansfield Park as Betsey alongside Frances O'Connor, Jonny Lee Miller, Sophia Myles (she played Lady Penelope in the film version of Thunderbirds), James Purefoy and Sheila Gish.
Other supporting roles include playing Anna Sackville-Bagg in the 2000 film called The Little Vampire opposite Jonathan Lipnicki, Rollo Weeks, Richard E. Grant and Alice Krige. The Little Vampire is a children's fantasy series by German author Angela Sommer-Bodenburg, and in the film called Girl with a Pearl Earring, where Anna played the part of Maertge, alongside Scarlett Johansson, Colin Firth, Tom Wilkinson and Cillian Murphy.
Her first major role was in the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, where she played Susan Pevensie, with Tilda Swinton, James McAvoy, Ray Winstone, Liam Neeson, William Moseley, Dawn French, Jim Broadbent, Rupert Everett, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley.
She has also reprised her role of playing Susan, in the sequel, called The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian, opposite Eddie Izzard and Ken Stott, and again in The Chronicles of Narnia - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader with Will Poulter, Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes, Peter Dinklage, Eddie Izzard and Liam Neeson all returning for this film.
