Chris Noth

Christopher David Noth was born on the 13th November 1954 in Madison in Wisconsin.
Chris made his film debut in 1988 in the low-budget movie called Jakarta. He also had small parts in films such as Smithereens (in 1982) and Baby Boom (in 1987), and on the TV series Hill Street Blues and Another World.
In 1988, Chris got his biggest role at that time, by filming a pilot for the legal and police drama series called Law & Order, playing the part of Det. Mike Logan. Chris went on to star in the film version called Exiled: A Law & Order Movie.
Chris Noth has also starred in Cutter's Way, Waitress, Smithereens, Killer in the Mirror, Off Beat, Apology, At Mother's Request, I'll Take Manhattan, Naked in New York, With Harmful Intent, Where Are My Children?, Burnzy's Last Call, Nothing Lasts Forever, Abducted: A Father's Love, Born Free: A New Adventure, Rough Riders, The Deli, Cold Around the Heart, Medusa's Child, The Broken Giant, Getting to Know You, The Confession, A Texas Funeral, Pigeonholed, The Acting Class, Cast Away, Double Whammy, The Judge, The Glass House, Searching for Paradise, Julius Caesar, This Is Your Country, Bad Apple, Mr 3000, and Tooth Fairy,
Chris has also reprised his role as Det. Mike Logan in Law & Order: Criminal Intent alongside Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe.
He also starred alongside Hilary Duff and Heather Locklear in the romantic movie called The Perfect Man as Ben Cooper .
He has also starred in a Broadway revival of The Best Man, and in 2001, he played an FBI agent on a couple of episodes of Crossing Jordan, re-uniting him with Law & Order co-star Jill Hennessy.
Chris has starred in the film called Frame of Mind as Steve Lynde, about the John F. Kennedy assassination. He stars opposite Carl T. Evans in this film.
But perhaps the role Chris is most known for, is playing the part of Mr Big also known as John James Preston in Sex and the City opposite Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.
Chris Noth co-owns the New York City nightclubs The Cutting Room and the Plumm. He also owns Once Upon A Tea Cup in Windsor in Ontario in Canada.
