William Shatner

William Shatner
William Shatner, born 22nd March 1931 in Montréal, Québec, Canada, is an actor / writer / director who became a TV legend thanks to "Star Trek" and "T.J. Hooker". He successfully transitioned his "Star Trek" character Captain James T. Kirk to the big screen in seven movies.

While saddled with a reputation for being difficult to work and live with, his on-screen presence is that of a total hero and he has undeniable charisma. He also seems surprisingly happy to poke fun at himself proving a gleeful highlight in the Eddie Murphy / Robert De Niro action comedy Showtime (2002) and a 1996 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (Eye, Tooth - series 6 episode 22).
