Born Monica Louise Brokaw; Picked up the surname Potter via her Ex-husband Tom Potter whom she married on July 21st 1990 and divorced in 1998 having had 2 sons by him. Married her present husband during 2005 (Daniel Christopher Allison) whom she has given birth to a daughter by him.

She is the second of four sisters and brought up in a Catholic Community where she Attended Villa Angela Catholic school for Girls and was involved in Modelling in Miami and Chicago before her Acting career began taking off, which was in 1994, when she moved to L.A.

Known to be an actress whom chooses her parts by how much comedic value as well as drama they offer.

She is a Vegitarian and married to an Orthopedic Surgeon.
