Marg Helgenberger
Mary Margaret Helgenberger was born on the 16th November 1958 in Fremont in Nebraska.
Marg got her first job as a nightly local news weather girl in her hometown of Nebraska, and as a meat boner at the meat packing plant her father was working at during the day.
While performing in a summer of 1981 NU campus productions of Shakespeare's “Taming of the Shrew,” in which she played Kate, Marg was spotted by a scout for the TV show “Ryan's Hope,” playing uptight amateur cop Siobhan Ryan Novak.
Marg’s first prominent role was in China Beach as Karen Charlene 'K.C.' Koloski . She then starred in the films - After Midnight as an all-night answering service operator called Alex, Always as Rachel alongside Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, John Goodman and Brad Johnson and in Crooked Hearts as Jennetta with Peter Berg, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Noah Wyle and Peter Coyote.
Other roles include The Cowboy Way as Margarette opposite Woody Harrelson and Kiefer Sutherland, Bad Boys as Capt. Alison Sinclair along with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and in Species and Species-.html">Species 2 as Dr. Laura Baker with Ben Kingsley, Michael Madsen and Natasha Henstridge.
Marg also has starred in tv films - Blind Vengeance as Virginia Whitelaw, Death Dreams as Crista Westfield, Not On The Frontline (as a narrator) and In Sickness And In Health as Mickey with Lesley Ann Warren and Tom Skerritt.
Another role was in Peacemaker as Mrs Cooper with Robert Davi, Robert Forster and Lance Edwards and in Through the Eyes of a Killer as Laurie Fisher alongside Tippi Hedren and Richard Dean Anderson.
She was also seen in I'll Be Waiting opposite Bruno Kirby a segment of the show called Fallen Angels with guest directors Tom Hanks, Kiefer Sutherland and Tom Cruise and in The Tommyknockers as Bobbi Anderson with Jimmy Smits and John Ashton.
She was also seen in the mini series When Love Kills: The Seduction of John Hearn as Debbie Banister alongside Gary Cole and Gregg Henry and in Partners as Georgeanne Bidwell opposite Ed Begley Jr and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Another role was in Where Are My Children? as Vanessa Meyer Vernon Scott with Tyrone Power, Sr, Juan de la Cruz, Helen Riaume, William Haben and C. Norman Hammond.
After playing a recurring role as George Clooney's love interest Karen Hines on popular medical drama ER, Marg became David Caruso's sex-starved widow on Gold Coast. She also starred Fire Down Below as Sarah Kellogg opposite Steven Seagal and Harry Dean Stanton.
Then as a talk show host on Murder Live, and in The Gulf War as Jerrilynn Folz with Ted Danson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Brian Dennehy.
She also starred opposite Ann-Margret in Happy Face Murders as Jen Powell, in Giving Up The Ghost as Anna Hobson and in Frame by Frame (also known asConundrum) as Det. Rose Ekberg with Michael Biehn.
But perhaps Marg's most notable part is playing Catherine Willows on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Crime Scene Investigation - Season 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 2, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 3, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 4 - Part 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 4 - Part 2, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 5 - Part 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 5 - Part 2, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 6 - Part 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 6 - Part 2, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 7 - Part 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 7 - Part 2, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 8 - Part 1, Crime Scene Investigation - Season 8 - Part 2 and in the Crime Scene Investigation - Tarantino Episodes - Grave Danger with William Petersen (also known as William L. Marg also starred as Donna Jensen in Erin Brockovich (also listed as Erin Brockovich - BLU-RAY Version) opposite Julia Roberts, Aaron Eckhart and Albert Finney and also portrayed Patsy Ramsey in Perfect Murder, Perfect Town - JonBenet and the City of Boulder with Kris Kristofferson, Ken Howard and Ronny Cox.
She also starred as Ann Foreman with Dennis Quaid and Scarlett Johansson in the film called In Good Company and in Columbus Day as Alice with Val Kilmer and Wilmer Valderrama.
She has starred as Mrs Emma Brooks alongside Kevin Costner, William Hurt, Demi Moore and Dane Cook in the film called Mr. Brooks and in Lethal Vows as Ellen Farris with John Ritter.
Another role was in The Last Time I Committed Suicide as Lizzy alongside Keanu Reeves, Thomas Jane and Claire Forlani and in Wonder Woman as Hera opposite Rosario Dawson and Virginia Madsen.
Marg also lends her voice to Conan: Red Nails as Princess Tascela with James Marsden, Ron Perlman and Mark Hamill.
