Matt Dillon

Matt Dillon
Matt Dillon was born in 1964 in New York. He began acting in the 1970s and was said to have become a 'teen idol' with ‘Rebellious kid’ roles such as Richie in Over The Edge (1979) and Tex in Tex (1982) Dillon later turned his hand to writing with City Of Ghosts (2002) which he also directed and starred in. He shows great diversity as an actor with films ranging from thrillers such as Wild Things (1998) to intense dramas such as Crash (2004) for which he received an Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for the role of Officer John Ryan. Dillon is probably best known for his role in the comedy There’s Something About Mary (1998) for which he received an MTV movie award for Best Villain.
