Ben Foster

Ben Foster is an American actor, born in Boston in 1980. He grew up in Iowa before leaving school and moving to Los Angeles at the age of 16 in order to act.

Ben started acting in American TV shows before getting his first film role in 'Kounterfeit' in 1997, followed by 'Liberty Heights' in 1999. There followed a series of small roles in films and TV films, until being noticed for his part in 'Hostage' in 2005. This led to increasingly larger and more important roles in 'Alpha Dog', 'X-Men: The Last Stand', '3:10 to Yuma' and '30 Days of Night'.

Ben has a younger bother who is also an actor; Jon Foster. His favorite actor is Philip Seymour Hoffman.
