Emma Watson
She has performed at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts including Arthur: The Young Years and The Happy Prince. The Stagecoach Theatre Arts is a part-time theatre school where Emma studied singing, dancing and acting. Emma is perhaps best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter book series created by J K Rowling. Hermione is a Muggle-born Gryffindor student and the best friend of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The daughter of two dentists, she is an overachiever who shows considerable academic prowess when compared to her friends and classmates. The films are - Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (but was released as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ( Deathly Hallows is divided into two parts filmed back-to-back for scripting reasons). Emma plays Hermione alongside Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Julie Walters as Mrs Molly Weasley and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. Other "Harry Potter" cast members include Gary Oldman as Sirius Black, Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort, the late Richard_Harris.html">Richard Harris then Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore, Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge, Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange, Katie Leung as Cho Chang, Brendan Gleeson as Alastor Moody, Dame Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall, Zoe Wanamaker as Madam Hooch, Richard Griffiths as Vernon Dursley, Emma Thompson as Sybill Trelawney, Miriam Margolyes as Pomona Sprout, Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley, Kenneth Branagh as Gilderoy Lockhart and Robbie Coltrane as Rubeus Hagrid to name but a few. She also played Hermione in The Queen's Handbag, a special mini-episode of Harry Potter in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday. Another role of Emma's was playing Pauline Fossil in an adaptation of Noel Streatfeild's novel called Ballet Shoes alongside Marc Warren, Lucy Boynton, Richard Griffiths, Yasmin Paige, Emilia Fox and Eileen Atkins and also as the voice of Princess Pea in the The Tale of Despereaux opposite Sigourney Weaver, Matthew Broderick, Tracey Ullman, Dustin Hoffman, Robbie Coltrane and Christopher Lloyd.
