Eric Szmanda
Eric Kyle Szmanda was born on the 24th July 1975 in Milwaukee in Wisconsin.
Eric has starred on stage in the one-man show called "Hyenas" at the Stages Theatre Centre in Hollywood.
Other stage credits include "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and regional productions of "Black Box," "La Indian Queen" and "The Bullfight."
He has served as a music consultant on the feature film called "Life as a House." Eric has a production company called Doop, which combines the worlds of acting and music.
He has appeared in Marilyn Manson's music video of "(S)aint".
Eric has had roles in the tv series of The Net as Jacob "Sorcerer" Resh alongside Brooke Langton, Joseph Bottoms and Tim Curry. This series is also known as Net , The - Season 1.
Other roles include Dodge's City as Johnny Dodge with April Grace, Steve Park and Sarah Hattingh, Snow Wonder as Luke opposite Mary Tyler Moore, Julie Ann Emery and Jason Priestley, True Vinyl as Billy Thompson and in 100 Girls as Sam with Jonathan Tucker, Emmanuelle Chriqui, James DeBello, Katherine Heigl and Larisa Oleynik.
He has also starred in Little Athens as Derek opposite John Patrick Amedori, Erica Leerhsen, DJ Qualls, Rachel Miner and Michael Pena and in The Rules of Attraction as a film student with James Van Der Beek, Shannyn Sossamon, Ian Somerhalder, Jessica Biel, Kip Pardue and Clare Kramer.
Other roles include playing a Tunnel-dwelling bum in Freakylinks,which is a show closely modelled on The X-Files delving into the supernatural with Ethan Embry, Lizette Carrion, Karim Prince and Lisa Sheridan and in Three Sisters as Dave alongside Dyan Cannon and in Zoe.
He has also had roles in The Division as Mark with Bonnie Bedelia, Amy Jo Johnson, Jose Yenque, Lisa Vidal, Jon Hamm and Nancy McKeon, Big Time as Avery opposite Jessica Capshaw and Oh Baby as Brent with Cynthia Stevenson and Patrick Kerr.
But pehaps Eric is most known for his roles as cheerful and optimistic Greg Sanders the Marilyn Manson loving resident lab rat then attaining a position out in the field as a level 1 CSI in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation alongside William Petersen, Laurence Fishburne, Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham, Lauren Lee Smith, Gary Dourdan, Louise Lombard, Jorja Fox and Paul Guilfoyle.
