Damian Lewis

Damian Lewis
Damian Lewis is a British actor, born in London in 1971. He was educated at Ashdown House, Eton College and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (with Daniel Craig and Joseph Fiennes).

Damian's big break came when Stephen Spielberg spotted him whilst working with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2000; Spielberg gave Damian a leading part in 'Band Of Brothers' which then led to film and TV roles in the US ('Dreamcatcher', 'Life', 'The Forsyte Saga').

Damian is married to the actress Helen McCrory; they have two children, Manon and Gulliver. His brother is the director Gareth Lewis.
