Lauren Lee Smith was born on the 19th June 1980 in Vancouver in British Columbia in Canada.
Early roles include Together as Erin Evans - about a fictional boyband, Get Carter with Sylvester Stallone, Miranda Richardson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Mickey Rourke and Michael Caine, Christy: The Movie as Christy Huddleston which is also knwn as Christy: Return to Cutter Gap opposite Stewart Finlay-McLennan, James Waterston and Diane Ladd and the sequels Christy: A Change of Seasons and Christy: A New Beginning.
Other film roles include The Wedding Dress as Hannah Pinkham, I Want To Marry Ryan Banks as Lauren with Jason Priestley, Bradley Cooper, Emma Caulfield and Mark L. Walberg and The Survivors Club as Meg Pasaturo.
Lauren has starred in Lie With Me as Leila alongside Eric Balfour, Polly Shannon, Ron White, Kate Lynch, Don Francks and Kristen Lehman and in Valentine with Denise Richards, David Boreanaz, Jessica Capshaw, Marley Shelton and Katherine_Heigl.html">Katherine Heigl.

Other roles were in Trick 'R' Treat as Danielle with Brian Cox, Dylan Baker and Anna Paquin, Anatomy of Hope as Cynthia Morgan and Can Openers as Susan.
She has also guest starred in episodes of Dark Angel as Natalie alongside Jessica Alba and Michael Wetherley, Dead Zone as Bonnie Gibson, The Twilight Zone as Eve, Blade: The Series as Bethany, and also as a recurring character in the drama series The L Word, playing Sous-chef Lara Perkins.
Lauren has also starred in the Mutant X series as Emma deLauro alongside Forbes March, John Shea, Victoria Pratt, Victor Webster, Tom McCamus and Karen Cliche. Another of Lauren's roles was as Tina in Intelligence with Ian Tracey, Klea Scott, Matt Frewer and John Cassini.
But perhaps Lauren's most notable role is as Riley Adams, a former St. Louis police officer who became a crime scene investigator. She comes in as a second-level CSI to the understaffed Las Vegas unit, which is still shaken by the shooting of Warrick Brown in CSI - Crime Scene Investigation - Season 9 with William Petersen, Laurence Fishburne, Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham and Paul Guilfoyle.
She has also starred in Helen as Mathilda with Ashley Judd, Annie Townsend and Goran Visnjic and in Can Openers as Susan.
Another role was in Hindenburg as a U.S. congressman's daughter - Jennifer van Zandt.
Lauren has also appeared in Psych as Lillian and in The Listener Season 2 as Sgt. Michelle McCluskey with Craig Olejnik, Enis Esmer (listed as Ennis Esmer) and Mylène Dinh-Robic.
