Christopher GeorgeChristopher George was born in 1931 and became a TV and film actor after seeing action in the Korean war where he served as a Marine. He is best remembered for his starring role in the 1966-68 TV series, Rat Patrol which won him a Golden Globe nomination in 1967.After Rat Patrol ended it's run he began his film career starring in 1960's genre films such as Tiger by the tail (1968) Project X (1968) and The Devil's 8 (1969) He continued his TV work throughout the 1970's starring in episodes of Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island and Police Story. In 1976, George played a supporting role in Midway and a starring role in Grizzly which was by far his most successful commercial movie grossing $39 at the box office. He followed the success of Grizzly with a string of Martial Arts and Slasher B movies such as Enter The Ninja, Return of the Ninja, Day of the animals, City Of The Living Dead and The Exterminator. Many of his movies from this period have since become Cult classics. He married Lynda Day in 1970 after meeting and starring with her in The Gentle Rain (1966) They worked together during the 1970's in TV episodes of Wonder Woman, Love Boat, Mission Impossible and McCloud.
