John Stellan Skarsgård aka Stellan Skarsgard was born June 13th 1951 in Sweden.

He has been a actor since his teens when he did a TV series called Bombi Bitt och jag. He has been in many well know films like Hunt for Red October, Pirates of the Caribbean, Meloncholia, Mamma Mia and Thor.

He has 7 children, 1 of which is Alexander Skarsgard who plays Eric Northman in the HBO series True Blood.
