She has a degree in English from Stanford University.

Langenkamp's voice appears three times in the song "Are You Ready For Freddy" by The Fat Boys, which plays at the end of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988). In the full version of the song, you can hear her say, "Don't Fall Asleep," very faintly right before the first chorus. The other two lines in the song are "Fred Krueger, Mom. Fred Krueger." and "He's burned, and he wears a weird hat, and a red and green sweater really dirty.".

It took her 7 years to earn her English degree from Stanford because she was working at the same time.

Charlie Sheen was the best man at her wedding to Anderson, Sheen's friend from high school.

Is a member of the PTA, and leads a local beach-cleanup effort.

Is an avid photographer.

Runs the Malibu Gum Company, which sells chewing gum packaged with trading cards depicting local surfing stars.

Has two kids from her marriage to special effects make-up artist David Anderson: son David Atticus Anderson (born 24 May 1991) and daughter Isabelle Eve Anderson (born 24 December 1994).

In Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Heather played a 15-year-old girl. In a particular scene, after her character has experienced some bizarre events and is rather beaten down, she looks in a mirror and says, "God, I look 20-years-old." The irony in that scene was, even though Heather was playing a 15-year-old, in reality she actually was 20 years old.

Resembles Nancy Kerrigan and even played her in Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story (1994) (TV)

Her first feature role was in Nickel Mountain (1984)

Parents are Dobie and Mary Alice Langenkamp.

Lives in Malibu, California.

Was set to star in Cursed (2005) but along with a few other actors, when the movie was being re-shot and re-written, some of the actors including herself couldn't return to re-shoot their scenes. Heather herself was pressed for time, and couldn't return to do her scenes all over again.

Is of Dutch descent.

Ranked #6 on Maxim's "Hottest Women of Horror Movies" list.

Of her three other "Just the Ten of Us" (1988) sisters, Brooke Theiss, JoAnn Willette and Jamie Luner, Luner was the only one who did not appear in the Nightmare on Elm Street films.

Was asked to reprise her role as Nancy in A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) but declined. However, she reprise her role as Nancy in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) and also later in New Nightmare (1994) (A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 7).

Personal Quotes
"When I'm around actresses who've put their careers at the top of their priorities, we don't have much in common."

"I'm not rich or famous, and it doesn't bother me."

"I do like acting, but it is just something that I do on the side, being rich and famous is not a priority for me. I have my husband, my kids, my parents, my brothers and sisters, my home and enough money. I don't need to be this rich and famous millionaire actress, I am quite happy with what I have and I can't think of anything that might be lacking from my life"

Where Are They Now
