Anna Faris

Anna Faris
Anna Kay Faris was born on the 29th November 1976 in Baltimore in Maryland. She gave her first professional acting performance at the age of nine, at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.
Anna has had roles in Deception: A Mother's Secret as Liz and in Eden as Dithy but her first significant film role was in the independent production called Lovers Lane as Janelle.
Lovers Lane is also known as I'm Still Waiting For You opposite Riley Smith, Sarah Lancaster and Erin J. Dean. This film is listed on Lovefilm as I'm Still Waiting For You on DVD for anyone who wants to watch it.
Anna then went on to star in the horror film parody called Scary Movie as Cindy Campbell, then reprised the role in Scary Movie 2, Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4. Anna dyed her hair black for the filming of Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4 so that her character more closely resembled Neve Campbell, who played the corresponding character in Scream, one of the films that Scary Movie parodied.
Other film roles followed including starring in May as Polly, The Hot Chick as April and Winter Break as Justine.
Anna also starred in the critically acclaimed film called Lost In Translation alongside Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, in which she plays an actress called Kelly who is promoting the fictional action movie Midnight Velocity.
Anna then gained a lot of popularity after becoming the recurring character of Erica in the final season of the sitcom Friends with Courtney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry.
Other film roles include Southern Belles as Belle and Waiting as Serena opposite Ryan Reynolds and Justin Long. She appeared again with Ryan Reynolds in Just Friends, as a pop-diva singer named Samantha James.
Anna then went on to play LaShawn Malone in Brokeback Mountain with the late Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Randy Quaid, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams.
Anna starred with Uma Thurman, Luke Wilson, Wanda Sykes, Rainn Wilson, and Eddie Izzard in the film My Super Ex-Girlfriend as Hannah.
Other starring roles include playing Jane F in Smiley Face opposite Adam Brody and John Cho, Nora Flannagan in Mama's Boy with Jon Heder, Jeff Daniels, and Diane Keaton and herself in Entourage for 3 episodes.
But perhaps Anna's most popular role is that of playing Shelley Darlington - a retired Playboy bunny in the film called The House Bunny with Katharine McPhee, Colin Hanks, Kat Dennings, Emma Stone, Rumer Willis, Kiely Williams, Dana Goodman and Kimberly Makkouk.
Another of Anna's latest film roles are in Young Americans as Wendy Franklin with Topher Grace, Dan Fogler, Michelle Trachtenberg (who played Dawn in Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Chris Pratt.
Other film roles include FAQ About Time Travel as Cassie opposite Dean Lennox Kelly, Chris O'Dowd, Marc Wootton and Dario Attanasio and in Observe and Report as Brandi with Seth Rogen and Ray Liotta.
She has also been in Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs as the voice of Sam with Bill Hader and Bruce Campbell and in Alvin and the Chipmunks II - The Squeakuel as the voice of Brittany with Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney.
