Penn Badgley

Penn Dayton Badgley was born on November 1, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland. He moved to Hollywood with his mother when he was 11 and was homeschooled with his future Gossip Girl co-star, Blake Lively. His first credit was a voice-part for Mario Gold 64 in 1999. His first onscreen credit was a part in Will and Grace. He began to get noticed when he played Phillip Chancellor IV on The Young and the Restless from 2000 - 2001 and was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2001 for Best Performance in a Daytime Series. He also appeared in Drive-Thru with another of his future co-stars, Leighton Meester.

Badgley is best known for playing Dan Humphrey in Gossip Girl, the CW show that revolves around the lives of wealthy young adults on the Upper East Side. His next announced project is a remake of the 1987 thriller The Stepfather.

It was confirmed in late 2007 that Badgley and his co-star Blake Lively were dating.
