Julian Richards

A graduate of The National Film School Julian Richards debut feature film was Darklands, a brooding tale of underground paganism which won a Melies D'Argent for Best European Fantasy Film 1997. Richards second feature, conspiracy thriller Silent Cry was awarded The Gold Remi at Worldfest Houston. His third feature, serial killer shockumentary The Last Horror Movie won Best UK Feature at Raindance and his fourth feature Summer Scars won two British Academy Awards. In 2008 Julian directed Derek Jacobi in Charles Dickens's England, a feature documentary about the life of Charles Dickens.
