Stunned, scientist David Koch (Jeff Fahey) has discovered evidence that it was a shift in the Earth's polarity that triggered the last Ice Age... in just 24 hours. Miami, the 21st Century, and it's happening again. As the temperature plummets, disaster looms. Miami is blasted with snow and ice, a communications satellite falls from orbit and an iceberg appears off the Florida coast. In the ensuing panic, evacuation routes are jammed. The only chance David and his wife Bryn (Erika Eleniak) have, is to hole themselves up in a special government `Absolute Zero' chamber. But they have to reach it first.
