Sydney; out-of-work actor Fred Thatcher goes to work at a stuffy corporate law firm as a temporary secretary. His assignment: Leslie Barrett, stressed-out female associate on the partner track. They instantly antagonise each other - Fred throws Leslie's carefully ordered existence into complete turmoil and Leslie just can't stop behaving like a laywer.
