A dual debut from first-time director Hogan and first-time screenwriter Wayans, who writes himself into a fierce predicament as a decorated Marine whose refusal to carry out a covert mission (assassinating the First Lady, that is) results in his being set up as a murderer. Consequently, he's forced onto the lam with a hostage in tow.
