Told through the eyes of a young girl, THE SKY IS FALLING is the story of two orphaned girls who go to live with their Aunt and her wealthy German Jewish husband in their villa in Tuscany. Taking place in 1944 and going up to the end of the second world war in Europe, the girls idyllic life is slowly changed forever as the dreadful events of the war unfold around them.
