Rebecca Lott is widowed when her husband is killed by a car. Her best friend, her sister and her step-mother converge on the house to support her as best they can, but all three women are suffering from their own insecurities. The arrival of a house painter forces the four women to confront their own desires and become who they truly wish to be.
