Lucy Liu plays LA reporter Sadie Blake, who, upon investigating a dark underground cult, ends up being its next victim. She wakes up in a morgue, neither dead or alive but a vampire, consumed by an overwhelming craving for blood. Trying to fight off her thirst, she prowls the dark streets, armed with a cross-bow and hell-bent on slaying the twisted vampires that made her this way.
