Tom Selleck stars in "Night Passage" as Jesse Stone, an ex-Los Angeles homicide detective who relocates to paradise, Massachusetts after leaving the force due to a drinking problem. Within days of becoming the new Chief of Police in this small coastal town he is called to investigate the suspicious death of his predecessor, Lou Carson (Mike Starr) whose truck fell down a cliff. With no witnesses, and ample evidence suggesting that Lou was drunk, the death is initially treated as an accident by the state police. But Jesse isn't buying it one bit and is determined to get to the truth.
