The Klansman

What a waste of Richard Burton who must have needed the money to buy Liz another ring, and Lee Marvin, who must have had some reason for doing this. OJ Sinpson was as about as wooden as the trees he spent time lurking in! Rubbish absolute rubbish can't even sell it on eBay!

Cosa Nostra - The Last Word

Has quite a good cast list that are wasted on this tripe! Another DVD that won't shift on eBay!

The Unbearable Lightness Of Being

This movie brings back embarrasing memories. Saw this movie at an art house cinema whilst at Uni in Oxford. I was 39 at the time, fell asleep, the movie was so enthralling, and woke up with my head on the shoulder of a rather attractive young lady in the seat next to me! She was quite nice about it though, she told me I hadn't missed much and that I wasn't snoring and looked so peaceful she just let me be! It may have lead to a beautiful friendship if I hadn't been so embarrassed!

The Wicker Man

Not a patch on the original, no wonder got it so cheap on eBay, still lost money it though! Terrible, terrible!

The Pelican Brief

Not strictly a STINKER as it remains for me a good movie, but only if I visualise Sandra Bullock in the Julia Roberts role! She also ruined Michael Collins and most other movies she's been in.

The Firm

Similarly to the above, a good movie IMO, ruined by Tom Cruise, the only DVD in my collection with him in it, there in spite of him!
  • The Firm on DVD (1993)

Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me

Absolute drivel! Had a late tip at Woolworth's Swindon, had to wait a while so went to a nearby multiplex thingy, and this was the only movie showing that fit into my time frame. There were just the two of us watching this tripe, the other bloke walked out muttering and shaking his head in disbelief before the opening credits had finished! Absolute CODSWALLOP!

The Fast And The Furious

TRIPE! TRIPE! TRIPE! Recommended by an alleged friend! Fortunately managed to get my money back off W H Smith after telling the young lady behind the counter that I was suffering from senile dementure!

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS is a nitro-burning joyride that makes outstanding use of special effects, innovative camera work, and a nonstop throbbing soundtrack. Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Sorry, just couldn't cope with this, a dark movie set mainly in the dark! I did try! 3 times I tried to watch this and the furthest I got into it was 90 minutes. And of those 90 minutes 87 1/2 minutes were spent fiddling with my TV or polishing my glasses to actually see what was going on and just who was shooting who, though in my humble opinion there wasn't enough shooting and if the assassin Robert Ford had shot Jesse James earlier I could have found something else to do with the time I wasted trying to cope with this! So glad I only rented this from LoveFilm!
