Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Love quirky indie films like this with an emotional core, great characters and fantastic soundtrack. A highly original, heart-warming film but not cheesy in the slightest!! Kate Winslet is exceptional as always!!!

Into the Wild

Extremely moving portrayal of one mans journey of self discovery, as he trades in his old lifestyle and heads off for Alaska. On his adventure he meets a variety of interesting characters whilst wrestling with his own demons and whatever nature has to throw at him, and all with the most basic of essentials......oh and a gun!!!!! He was young, naive and stubborn, some would say selfish, but I believe he was simply punishing his parents (like so many teenagers do), whilst trying to discover who he was. Nothing like I was expecting....can't recommend this enough!!!!

Garden State

Another corking indie film that is superbly written and acted. Driven by the characters it allows the viewer to immerse themselves in the story!! Excellent soundtrack too which just adds more to the experience

C.R.A.Z.Y.

What a fantastic film.....one boys struggle with his sexuality but at the heart of the film the main character's simply looking for acceptance from his dad!! Its a simple story but a touching one!! Great soundtrack!!!

Field Of Dreams

I know this film has many strange elements but it is still worthwhile and rewarding viewing. Brings a manly tear to the eye!! He gets to play catch with his dead younger dad for heavens sake!!!

The Dark Knight

My favourite movie of the summer. Not so much a comic book caper, more a high octane thriller!!! Heath Ledger as the Joker is so menacing and brooding he is almost too good for the film as you want to concentrate fully on his mesmerising performance. An excuse for another viewing!!! I didn't think Chris Nolan could better Batman Begins, but he has and then some!!!! See it at the IMAX if possible and its even better!!! Outstanding!!!

Withnail And I

This is what i call a comedy!!! Excellent script and superbly acted!!!.......I demand some booze!!!

The Bourne Ultimatum

Cracking, heart pounding action thriller which rounds off Bourne's story nicely but also leaves it open ended. Puts Casino Royale to shame in terms of classic one liners and fight sequences!!! Amazing!!

Jackie Brown

Not everyones fave but I love it.....great funky soundtrack and Pam greer oozes pure class!!!

The Green Mile

Love this movie.......you can't help but shed a tear when the big fella fries for a crime he didn't commit!!! A film with loads of heart!! Frank Darabont is a genius
