Filmed in 2008. In Ewan's latest role he plays Jonathon, an accountant who has reached new depths of boredom in his life until he meets Wyatt, A hot shot member of a wholly anonymous sex group. Jonathon gets involved and finally has a bit of excitement in his life, all runs smoothy until he meets and falls in love with "S". She is a fellow member of the group so when she is kidnapped Jonathon has to tell the police that he has absolutely no information about her other than her first name beginning with the letter S. It all gets VERY cool from there on in. Deception takes a while to get going but if you bear with it you won't be sorry. FOUR STARS

The film is quite an unusual move for Ewan to make, though it holds an interesting concept (it is about near death experiances) and I'm always curious to see Ewan do new things, I'm just not so sure about the film itself. If you never saw Long way round then you simply HAVE to watch it. Ewan and his best mate Charley Boorman travel on their motorcycles from London to New York going east... the long way round. It's funny and inspiring to watch the trip from start to finish is just fantastic. Ewan doesn't let people into his private life very often and I totally appreciate that but as a fan this series was a real treat.
