Deception

Filmed in 2008. In Ewan's latest role he plays Jonathon, an accountant who has reached new depths of boredom in his life until he meets Wyatt, A hot shot member of a wholly anonymous sex group. Jonathon gets involved and finally has a bit of excitement in his life, all runs smoothy until he meets and falls in love with "S". She is a fellow member of the group so when she is kidnapped Jonathon has to tell the police that he has absolutely no information about her other than her first name beginning with the letter S. It all gets VERY cool from there on in. Deception takes a while to get going but if you bear with it you won't be sorry. FOUR STARS

Filmed in 2006. Scenes of a sexual nature is a british comedy based round couples and their relationships. Despite the title there are no actual scenes of a sexual nature included. The film is shot entirely on Hampstead Heath and has a fantastic cast. It's a great film and is definately worth a watch. FOUR STARS

Stay

Filmed in 2005. Stay is a little confusing. The film is quite an unusual move for Ewan to make, though it holds an interesting concept (it is about near death experiances) and I'm always curious to see Ewan do new things, I'm just not so sure about the film itself. Don't take my word for it though, you might like Stay, who knows? TWO STARS

Ewan McGregor And Charley Boorman - Long Way Round

If you never saw Long way round then you simply HAVE to watch it. Ewan and his best mate Charley Boorman travel on their motorcycles from London to New York going east... the long way round. It's funny and inspiring to watch the trip from start to finish is just fantastic. Ewan doesn't let people into his private life very often and I totally appreciate that but as a fan this series was a real treat. Possibly the best TV series ever except for Long Way Down FIVE BILLION STARS! Filmed in 2005

The Island

Also Starring Scarlett Johanson and Sean Bean. The Island is a quick moving action adventure set in the future. I don't want to give the story away so if you want my advice put this film on your MUST SEE list, it's fab! Surprisingly The Island recieved some pretty bad reviews.... this film made me realise that sometimes film critics just haven't got a bloody clue! FIVE STARS!!! Filmed in 2005

Star Wars: Episode 3 - Revenge Of The Sith

Filmed in 2005, Revenge of the sith sees Ewan return to the role of Obi-wan Kenobi for the third and final time. Out of all six of the Star Wars films, this one is my favourite. It's fast-paced story, Quick witty dialect and all-star cast combine to create an explosive and inspirational end to the Star Wars sega. Absolutely brilliant. FIVE STARS

Valiant

Filmed in 2005. Valient is a British animation about the pigeons who carried messages for the British Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during World War II. Ewan voices Valient, a small woodland pigeon who dreams of being a war hero. The story starts when he sets off to join the RHPS where he will help by flying vital messages about enemy movements across the English Channel whilst evading brutal attacks by the enemy's Falcon Brigade. Valient includes the voice talents of Ricky Gervais, Tim Curry, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Laurie, John Clease and Johnathon Ross to name a few. It's a great film to watch with the family. FIVE STARS
