The return of the TOS crew in the second movie. A much improved plot line from the first movie and excellent casting for Khan make this one of the better Star Trek outings.

The movie currently in production. This movie is set as Kirk and Spock meet (again I believe time travel is involved) and form the crew of the Enterprise. Much of the plot is still secret but we know we will see the Enterprise under construction.

At movie no. 7 it is decided to let the Next Generation crew take over. A good effort, especially in visual effects, will keep you watching. However, the plot is difficult as it brings the two captains together for the handover, but they lived some time apart from each other. Get ready for more time travel....

Hidden away in a part of the Federation called the Briar Patch an Starfleet Admiral plans to move an entire civilization to another planet. Who will stop him? Picard and his crew of course. Not the best plot for the Next Generation crew, but interesting nevertheless to see a Starfleet Admiral as an antihero.. trying to save the Federation by destroying it's principles.

After a let down in movie 5 Star Trek returns to form in no 6. Traces of political intrigue from our own planet weaved into the stars, along with a villain of the likes not seen since Star Trek 2 make this one of the best outings for Kirks crew. Finished on a high.

The last of the Next Generation movies. The Romulans want peace and so the Enterprise is sent to the Star Empire to negotiate. Things, as always, do not go as planned. A cameo from Janeway is an interesting aside. In my opinion one of the better Star Trek movies, but true Trekkers don't like it as it leaves questions unanswered (how did Wesley come back?) and doesn't follow cannon.

The first of the Star Trek movies. Worth a watch to see what they did with the extra money... better sets, ships, etc. However, they went overboard on this element and forgot to keep the story moving.

In the third movie installment the crew go to rescue Spock. A poor plot (how to bring Spock back from the dead??) a poor Klingon bridge set, and some questionable planet sets leave something to be desired in this one.

Star Trek for the masses. Kirk and co travel back in time to 20th Century Earth to find some Whales (not Wales). A plot that is interesting and was made to try and bring non trekkers into the movie theatre. Not one of my favourites, but a favourite of many.

After finding some Whales, what is the next step? Go looking for God, obviously!!! An attempt to direct the film by Shatner is let down by a poor plot, partly written or at least inspired by himself. A let down and one of the worst of the bunch.
