The Grudge

The only Asian horror that I managed to watch on the big screen, it absolutely scared the you-know-what out of me. Creepiest child ever in the world and a whole new reason why hiding under the bed covers won't save you!

Shutter

Another Thai film that is one of the best Asian horrors in my opinion. Plenty of scares, creepy ghosts and the ever present revenge theme!

The Grudge 2

Creepy child and mom are back in an entertaining sequel. Also including the first ever wig I witnessed trying to be scary.

Ring

The one that everyone has heard of! No the remake wasn't terrible, but it spawned a whole heap of terrible remakes of some amazing films. Watch this version, and if you don't prefer it you must be a weirdo, lol :)

Ring 2

Carrying on from where Ringu (Ring) left off, this is a good sequel that takes the story to the next level. As an afterthought, if you ever read the books that these films are based on they are really strange, but incredibly cool!

Infection

Totally bizarre film set in a hospital, where a patient turns up late one night with a strange disease. Part of the "J-Horror Collection" of films, that sadly only seems to consist of three so far.

Pulse

This is one of those films I mentioned before that had an atrocious remake. The original Pulse (Kairo) is a beautifully crafted supernatural tale of isolation and the true horror of loneliness. I implore you to never watch the remake as it completely misses the entire point of the film!

Versus

Not really a horror, but it has zombies in it and is ridiculoulsy cool, so I have added it. Great sense of humour and plenty of blood!
