300

Visually, it's a great film - one I definitely need on Blu-Ray! The story's not too bad either.
  • 300 on DVD (2006)
Starring: Gerard Butler,  Lena Headey,  Andrew Pleavin
    Director: Zack Snyder
    Certificate: Certificate: 15
Based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, 300 takes over the screen like an invading horde. With all the gushing blood of a horror movie and the scope of a classic epic, the second film from Zack Snyder (who helmed the 2004 remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD) is an impressive visual ..read more »

Alien Quadrilogy

All four Alien films (obviously not including the AVP films). The best bit for me is the Aliens directors cut.

Alien Vs Predator

Not much special here. I honestly found this one dissapointing. I just keep it in my collection because I was waiting for this moment for so long!

Anchorman

Great fun! Ron Burgundy:"Brick, where did you get a hand grenade?" Brick Tamland: "I.. Don't know!"

It's the early 1970s and the local anchorman is not only a source of news but a revered local hero. In San Diego, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), a moustachioed bachelor with a taste for scotch, unparalleled passion for the jazz flute, and a near-telepathic connection with his spirited mutt, Baxter, ..read more »

Back To The Future

Actually part of a box set. This is the start of something great!

Back To The Future Part 2

Actually part of a box set. The best of the three!

Back To The Future Part 3

Actually part of a box set. Not as good as the previous two, but the ending wraps it up pretty well. This is one set of films where I don't want a new one to be added to it. It's good as it is!

Batteries Not Included

I loved this film as a kid.. And yes.. I still love it now!

Beetlejuice

I'm a sucker for Burton films, and here's a good reason why!
  • Beetlejuice on DVD (1988)
Starring: Michael Keaton,  Geena Davis,  Alec Baldwin

In the surreal, wonderfully cartoon-like comedy BEETLEJUICE, a childless couple, Barbara and Adam (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin), move to the country only to be killed in a car accident while passing over a quaint covered bridge. Their ghosts return to their beloved Victorian home, and find the '..read more »
