Star Trek The Next Generation: The Movies Box Set

All ten 2 part story episodes re-editied into 10 featur length episodes/tv movies...highlights include..The Best Of The Both Worlds (the excellent prequel to Star Trek First Contact), Unification (continuing where Star Trek VI leaves off), Chain of Command (which sees our captain being tortured for pleasure by a sadistic cardassian Gul), and the slightly mind bending All Good Things..series finally (which closed the series and made way for the The Next Generation Movies)

Star Trek 2 - The Wrath Of Khan

The second and considered best of the Star Trek movies that sees Admiral Kirk facing off against the evil Khan Noonian Singh in a sequel to the classic Original Series episode Space Seed, Khan escapes planet isolation to try an get revenge on Kirk for marooning him there with his wife 15 years earlier after Khan tried to hijack the enterprise and kill kirk..but as always Kirk gives him a run for his money and the encounter gives kirk the boost he needs to recapture his youth and sense of adventure..one of my favourites as a movie not just for star trek...if this would have been the last movie it would have been the best movie to finish the franchise on..but as we know the voyage continues..

Star Trek The Next Generation - Season 3

The third and best of the ST TNG seasons on TV, which saw the show finally escape the shadow of the Original Series, highlights include, the classic comical episode..Menage a Troi featuring the Ferengi...Sarek's return inthe simply titled Sarek (which is a introduction of sorts to the fifth season episode Unification featuring leonard Nimoy as the now ambassador Spock), the excellent and politically controversial High Ground and las but not least the legendary Best Of Both Worlds episode cliffhanger that saw the return of the Borg, the assimilation of Captain Picard, and set up the ground work for future Borg stories (most of all Star Trek First Contact)...the best of the St Tng...highly recommended..

The Death Of The Incredible Hulk

This was the emotional final farewell to one of televisions all time classic heroes...this was the third tv movie spin off from the tv series and sees David Bannar finally finding a cure for the besat within himself..but as usual all dosent go to plan and bannar find himself caught in the middle of an espionage plan, and even finds love, but when it comes time to save the day Bannar is forced to release that same beast we all know and love The Hulk, and engages in one last confrontation that not only allows him to see the hulk for the first time but come to terms with it...but all ends in tragedy and a sacrifice is made that changes not on ly the future of the hulks existanse but television as we know it forevor...the film is smooth, slick, action packed and sad not just for being the end of tv history but for the loss tragically of Bill Bixby who died not long after after losing a battle with cancer, this truly ending all chance of the our hero coming back to save the day on emore time..a truly great tv highlight..

Law And Order Special Victims Unit - Series 1

The excellent companion/spinoff to Law and order...taking a more grittier tone as our heroes are investigating and solving Sexually Based Offences and child crimes, grittier, controversial and still top ratings tv in the states after nearly a decade. this first season introduces the charactors and their families, and shows a darker side to humanity than previous tv/cop shows...even more great for the addition of Richard Beltzer as Detective Munch, a charactor originally from the classic nineties show..Homicide Life on the streets, making the actor the record holder for playing the charactor in the most tv shows (including a brief apperance as detective Munch in a classic episode of The X Files)..excellent tv highly recommended but not for faint of hearts..
