The Navigators

My favourite Loach film about a bunch of railway workers and their hardships.

Land And Freedom

Superb acting by Ian Hart and an idealistic Liverpudlian who goes off to fight in the Spanish Civil War.

The Wind That Shakes The Barley

Film about Irish independence. Excellent cinematography. The DVD has an interesting short documentary about the man himself.

Tickets

Three short films rolled into one all taking place on a European train. Loach's vignette about three young Celtic supporters is third and by far the best.
