Films I'd watch twice (or more)... (31 titles)

Here is a collection of films I have seen over a period of about 20 years. All of these have stayed with me for one reason or another and I would definitely watch these more than once. Often I find that on the second viewing so much more is revealed, missed the first time round. As I come across films that I've forgotten about for the time being, or new ones that I see and connect with, I'll update the list. Hope this is useful, as I have found looking through other peoples collections is a great way to spot potential masterpieces :)

Seven Samurai

This is probably my favourite movie of all time. There is so much packed into this movie, beautifully shot, wonderfully acted, each character perfectly developed. I suggest making sure that you watch the long version which if I remember correctly is about 3 hours 45 mins.

Alive

This I found great to watch with my kids as it really shows the strength of the human spirit, about never giving up, being positive and never losing hope. We had a great discussion after this movie.
