Seven Samurai

This is probably my favourite movie of all time. There is so much packed into this movie, beautifully shot, wonderfully acted, each character perfectly developed. I suggest making sure that you watch the long version which if I remember correctly is about 3 hours 45 mins.

Touching The Void


Alive

This I found great to watch with my kids as it really shows the strength of the human spirit, about never giving up, being positive and never losing hope. We had a great discussion after this movie.
