This is my favourite movie and its sure to become an even more established cult favourite, as the remake is on the way. This version isn't a musical but a comedy for people of all ages with a great off beat 60's soundtrack. Watch out for the all star cast.

Faye Dunaway gives her most memorable performance as the barking mad movie queen Joan Crawford. You will never be able to look at wire coathangers or scouring powder with a straight face ever again! Amazing stuff.

The Brady Bunch Movie

The popular 70s TV show makes a graceful transition to the big screen in this light-hearted feature that's part parody and part homage. The plot here (about a ruthless land developer who wants to buy the Brady home) is secondary to the playful juxtaposition of the Brady's era with our own. The film ..read more »

Rap legend Queen Latifah teams up with Steve Martin in this great comedy about an ex-con who seeks out a rich lawyer to clear her name. Betty White (The Golden Girls) and Joan Plowright almost steal the show in memorable supporting roles.

American prime time soap opera legend, Morgan Fairchild (Flamingo Road, Falcon Crest) stars in this sleazy thriller. Not the greatest movie in the world by any means, but I just like it! The movie is about a TV newscaster who is stalked by a psycho. In order to survive she must use the very thing that attracted him to her in the first place, her body!

This is the second movie on my list from director John Waters. This one stars Kathleen Turner who seems to be the perfect mother, until people start getting on her nerves. A classic. Ricki Lake, Mathew Lillard, Mink Stole and 70's kidnap victim Patty Hearst all co-star.

This one isn't all that trashy, in fact it's quite sad in places. Screen legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford team up for the first, and last time. A true classic. The story is about two sisters, one is a disabled faded movie star (Crawford), and the other is a long forgotten child star (Davis) who is boiling over with resentment and jealousy as she never made it as an adult actress. If you have a short attention span like me don't be put off by the length of the movie, it's well worth it.

Final John Waters movie, I promise. This one stars Johnny Depp as a jouvenille delinquent who hangs around all day singing and dancing with his gang (including Ricki Lake and Traci Lords). A square girl (Amy Locane) catches his eye, much to the horror of her grandmother, Mrs Vernon Williams (Polly Bergan). Lots of great musical numbers in this one, not too sure about this new directors cut, to me the extra scenes were cut for a reason. See what you think.

Cult director John Waters goes mainstream -- sort of -- in this send-up of 1950s teen melodramas. Another comedy! Danny DeVito and Bette Midler are a very unlikeable couple. A younger couple decide to kidnap her and demand a ransom, the only problem is he doesn't want her back! Helen Slater (Supergirl) and Judge Reinhold co-star.

Horses painted to look like zebras, Tanya Roberts (Charlie's Angels, That 70's Show) in a skimpy outfit as our heroine, and some fantastic locations shot in Africa make this a great watch. Yes, the acting is horrible, the theme tune is endless, and Tanya Roberts' ropey accent and animal telepathy may put off the more traditional viewer. But this is a real guilty pleasure and very funny, albeit for all the wrong reasons.
