The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Promising first hour deteriorates into embarrassing cod-philosophising that makes Forrest Gump look like Satre. Pitt puts in a warm & subtle performance but Blanchett is plain annoying.

Superb take on the vampire mythology. Great performances, atmospheric direction & an interesting story make for one of the years best.

Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen

Probably Citizen Kane for 11 years olds...who've never seen a decent film before. I just thought it was plain awful. Loud, vulgar and boring. Not a fan!!

Bruno

Not without it's moments but this schtick is starting to feel a bit old & Bruno himself is no Borat.

Inglourious Basterds

An enjoyable if utterly ridiculous return to form for QT.

Moon

Compelling story with a great performance from Rockwell - one of the most underrated actors around. Tense score & great design but falls short of greatness.
